No matter how hard you try, how many details you attend to, and how far you bend over backwards to accommodate a buyer’s needs…sometimes a deal falls through. And the Blue Ridge deal fell through. It goes to show you that it’s a real good idea to be honest with your real estate agent when buying a house–some houses are harder to purchase under special programs, and that can be unpleasant for you, the buyer, and the seller who was counting on the income from the sale to continue doing business.
However, that means another lucky buyer, one with traditional financing, can easily purchase our lovely home! The pergola alone makes me want to hang out there.
