Happy day to everyone reading! I have some things to share for the other people like me who do not quite know who we are or what exactly it is that we do here. This is my opinion and take on who we are and what we do here.
This team invests in people who are looking to fulfill their dream of owning a home, or stopping an ugly foreclosure that is threatening the family. For the buyers it is: Will they feel at home? Is the neighborhood safe? Will this bathtub bring great stress relief to the mom and dad who just need a good, hot, 15-minute soak so Calgon can take them away? Is this the home that a new mom and dad are going to bring their first baby home to, and this baby grow up in this house and have memories of Dad marking on the door frame how tall that child is at what age and date?
How can we do the most good? Sometimes that is stepping in and stopping an ugly foreclosure. Remember to let your Senator know that you oppose SB 1994 so that we may continue doing the most good that we can.
Sometimes the seller may want to sell the house they are in, because they have found their dream home elsewhere. We are here for them just as much.
Our core values state clearly that this company is built on doing the most good for people. We keep it honest, we stay humble, and we act as human beings helping other human beings as if they are family. As an employee, I enjoy keeping up with the cleaning, the projects, and walking in the door every morning. This office is a house. It is a welcoming house. I sit at my computer and work on things, ask Lee a few hundred questions before noon, or I sweep the front porch because this office is my house. I feel at home here. I take pride in the appearance of the office and spending time to make it personal and comfortable while remaining functional as an office. I feel like me handling the office work will free up others to go out and do the most good for people that they can do. So here is my part of the company to do the most good. It is incredible to find a company that shares many of my own beliefs in the ways of helping others. That makes me want to work even harder.
Think about it. If my office makes me so at home and I feel so very welcome and comfortable, what must the other houses that we have that are meant to be homes feel like? I am involved with a company who puts the person before anything else.
This is how I see the company and the team.
I am so happy here and so proud to be a Hermit in training.
