It’s been another week or so, and sure enough, time marches on at the Bobcat Lair. It needs to, since the rest of the things in my Braesgate house have to be packed and brought over there (by my friends the expensive movers) sometime next week, before we hand it over to the new people! (The movers have a bit less to move, since our wonderful neighbors, who we will miss very much, have raided the garage and removed a number of bulky items—the same folks who are “de-cluttering” just took my clutter. We also sold them the freezer. YES.)
Back on Cat Mountain, where the bobcat is resurrecting itself, the new walls have been taped and floated, and the old walls and ceilings have been made smooth and beautiful. When we went by, they’d just finished the taping and floating. By the time you read this, the texturing will be up, and who knows, maybe some flooring will be laid? Or some paint applied?
