You may recall that we have another house waiting in the wings, the Kerrville Folkways house (and as someone who’d BE at the world-famous Kerrville Folk Festival every year if I wasn’t such a heat wimp, I love the street name). What’s up with it, you wonder?

Well, you know we work with sad houses. And the sadness on this house is an IRS lien that has to be removed before we can close. We had extended the closing date by two weeks recently, but we need to do it AGAIN. Let’s hope it all works out.

Carol has been getting estimates for services, such as painting the exterior and interior, and has a good idea what the scope of work for the project will be. Anita has been taking additional construction project management classes. We are ready to do this rehab, if only we can acquire the house!
