Right now I don’t have any project updates for you, and no deep thoughts to share. How come? We’re all doing things, that’s for sure!
Russell has been regularly doing his MLS Monday checks of properties that meet our criteria (however, this week it’s MLS Tuesday), and has been networking every week at one or two different groups. He’s met some really interesting folks lately that we will follow up on.
I have been busy writing blog posts, making newsletters, or helping set up a website for a couple of nonprofits I’m on the board of or work with. I’ll share more about the animal protection group soon. Otherwise, I’m trying to deal with the WIND! My pink hair is crazy!
Carol is on the hunt for the next rehab for us to do. She’s looking at some of the properties Russell found, knocking on doors, and sending out postcards weekly. We hope to have news on a particular property very soon!
Lee is keeping up with all the money coming in and going out, writing a book on real estate, and working on his new project with our niece Kathleen. Look for more information on the Homes, Hearts, Hands home health care service as it gets ready to start working in Milam County. All the paperwork is in progress, and there is a LOT of paperwork. We are very glad that Kathleen is such an expert in that field.
Mandi is also dealing with money coming in and going out, as well as keeping our rental property repairs and the Cameron projects coordinated. She also has 13 kittens at her house. She wanted “a couple” of mousers at her house, so she adopted a pregnant cat who has had six kittens. The other five of the kittens are grandchildren of our office cat, Shadow! We do not know how Patsy Catsy found a baby daddy, but she’ll get taken care of soon.
Oh yes, and Mandi says to come see the Dorothy in Wonderland play when it opens at Milam Community Theater. Auditions are going on now!
