We’ve been catching up on all sorts of things this week. One fun part is that I got to bring out more Halloween-style decorations in the Cameron office. There are spiders galore (the fake kind; thankfully the pest control has worked and there aren’t spiders of the living kind in the building, just crickets that enter and keel over).
The entryway reception area now has a few temporary accessories on it, so it’s looking better. We’re waiting to bring in the lamp and art until more wall building is complete. Lee is planning to do some of the work himself, which I applaud him for, even if I worry a bit.
The last group that had a meeting in the conference room was impressed at the lack of ceiling and the two “new” yellow lamps I got from the Nash house. They really are nice, though they need a good cleaning.
Reading
We have also been reading a LOT. Russell and I keep sharing more and more links. I am partway through a very interesting book on the pros and cons of the tiny house movement, which I’ll report on more when I’m finished. It’s written by a young man the age of my younger son, which makes me feel sorta shriveled and ancient, but his writing is quite engaging. Consider this a teaser for more!
