Sue Ann’s recent post about our problems with an appraisal got me thinking about a lesson I learned while studying for a project management professional (PMP) designation from Project Management Institute (PMI). (I never earned my PMP, having changed jobs when I was still one class short of the requirements, but the things I learned inform most of the business decisions I make to this day.)
