We’re laughing over here at the Cameron office. Why? Well, it’s just hard to get things done, and even when we do get things done, we certainly don’t think them through (luckily this is just on little things).
Small Town Internet
First, it’s a really good thing I had some things to do yesterday, and Mandi was sick (icky). That’s because early in the day, we stopped getting any ability to use the internet and our phones. No signal. Every once in a while something would trickle in or out, but our ability to communicate was shot. You don’t realize how much you rely on being able to text people to coordinate activities until you can’t. And you come to regret relying on “the cloud” for getting things done when the cloud is off hiding somewhere.
Luckily I managed to get all my meetings and travel done, since my first meeting was with people who aren’t all internet savvy anyway, and the other people just showed up and knocked on the door. Lee went home and sulked.
Speaking of Knocking on the Door
Here’s where we didn’t think things through. We did get a big sign to point the way to the entrance to our offices, as we pointed out recently. Lee and Mandi got it installed in a temporary way with a lot of rope that attached to the unused side door. We thought, “Well, now that will be clear!”Hermann says please like and share!
